The Saturators

Do not be surprised to hear elements of George Clinton’s P Funk to the Gap Band’s G funk, with that live reggae, roots, rock and soul with the TCQ and Diagble Planets hip-hop attitude.
The Soul Survivor Magazine

In-between Afrobeat and Afrobeats, Reggae and Reggaeton, P-Funk and G-Funk, The Saturators are the live manifestation of David Byrne’s 45’s collection.

New York City’s Caribbean Funk party, The Saturators were concocted in 2015 by guitarist/producer Misha “Silky” Savage & dancehall toaster Redddaz. Unafraid to channel a myriad of influences, their sonic vocabulary spans dancefloors from Trinidad to Harlem. The band has performed at storied venues such as Brooklyn Bowl, B.B King’s Bar and Grill, and Knitting Factory Brooklyn. They’ve opened for internationally touring acts such as Alika, The Cannabis Cup All-Star Band and shared stages with DJs such as Shpongle and Jai Wolf.

The band features Aiman Radzi – (Bass / MD) endorsed by Dean Markley Strings, Angel Acevedo (drums), Theo Moore (congas/percussion), and Midnight Magic’s Jason Disu (trombone) and Carter Yasutake (trumpet from Underground System).
