We are proud to welcome
a socioeconomically and culturally diverse, multi-generational audience from throughout New England.
Our festival was born out of a desire
to bring people together, from all walks of life, to share a journey of wonder, discovery, and delight.
Each year, over ten thousand people
flock to Easthampton, eager to discover new music, food, art, and interactive experiences.
Help us
Millpond.Live is a grassroots festival series powered by the generous support of businesses and individuals who believe that arts and cultural programming should be accessible to everyone. With your help, these multifaceted events remain FREE and welcoming to people from all walks of life.
Our first season opened just weeks after the culmination of the public-private partnership that gave new life to Easthampton’s Manhan Rail Trail, Mill District, Millside Park, and the impressive parking lot that unites the Pleasant Street Mills. Attendees were delighted to see this once derelict venue reborn and to become acquainted with the vibrant hive of artisans, entrepreneurs, and non-profits taking root in the historic mill buildings.

We have worked closely with the Mayor, City Counselors, and City staff to structure our events to support municipal initiatives. These include improvements to Millside Park, Complete Streets funding, MassWorks support for the Mill District, direct audience engagement with elected officials, and activation of the recently renovated Manhan Rail Trail.

Illuminate Your Message

In 2018 we incorporated an LED wall into our stage design. Visible at all times of the day, the dynamic canvas serves two purposes:

  1. Our design team ditched the old school program pamphlets (which mostly ended up in the trash) and put their creative powers to the task of making beautiful animated slides and video segments to recognize our sponsors. The dynamic messages spoke volumes to our audience.
  2. Our visual art team curated work from more than 12 local artists and paired it with the mood, style, and message of each performance; framing the stage with a rich visual tapestry of paintings, photographs, and illustrations.

Meet Our Audience

Our audience is socioeconomically diverse, intergenerational, multicultural, and inclusive. The thousands of people who covet our festival also take pride in patronizing the businesses that make Millpond.Live FREE and accessible to people from all walks of life. Let's get creative; send a message to your audience, and let them know that community matters to you.

Branding Opportunities

Here are just a few of the ways that we can tie your brand into the ethos of Millpond.Live:

  • Your logo on our website, linked to the landing page of your choice.
  • Send a message to your visitors by displaying our "WE #GIVEBACK" badge on your website.
  • See your brand on the big screen! We make animated slides and videos that showcase what you have to offer on our giant LED wall.
  • We proudly display the logos of our major sponsors in print ADs and in our email blasts.
  • How about a co-branded social media campaign to get your followers excited about the 2019 season?
  • Feeling in-kind? Be heard on the radio by purchasing a block of ADs to promote the festival.

Audience Engagement

With thousands of curious people in the same place at the same time, festivals are a great setting in which to engage with potential customers and supporters. That being said, we tend to shy away from the booth/table paradigm and instead seek out opportunities that enhance the festival experience.  Onsite engagement opportunities are reserved for our lead sponsors, who we work collaboratively with to develop creative and compelling ways to interact with our audience.

Here are just a few of the approaches that we've enjoyed:
  • Tell a story and introduce an artist from the stage
  • Share culinary tastings and product samples
  • Encourage cycling with trailside valet service and a pop-up repair shop
  • Power our network of string lighting with solar power
  • Give out branded fans to keep everyone cool
  • Relax the crowd with complimentary chair massage

Exclusive & Age Verified

We offer a high-impact engagement opportunity for sponsors who are in search of ways to connect with an adult-only demographic. All audience members who wish to consume alcohol must have their ID verified, at which point we apply a Tyvek wristband that is worn for the duration of the evening.

There is no more prominent marketing real estate than a colorful wristband, which can be printed with your branding and a call-to-action (such as the URL for a landing page, or a coupon code). The wristband is an exclusive opportunity for a major sponsor who recognizes the value of wearable advertising and direct audience engagement.
